The Wave Special Edition: Dolphin Fest Saturday, November 5th 10 AM - 2 PM This is the premier fundraising event of the PTA, bringing together students, teachers, parents, local businesses and our wonderful neighbors for a fun-filled day. This special edition of The Wave will give you all the details for this year's event. Wristbands for Unlimited Access to (most) Attractions! On Sale Oct. 10 - 21 The PTA is offering a PRE-SALE only wristband for unlimited access to slide, hamster track, obstacle course, soccer kick, petting zoo, bounce houses (there will be 2) - with more to come- and ALL class games. The wristband includes 4 stubs. Each stub is equal to one ticket and can be used for the limited access games/attractions including: glitter tattoo, donut dance, Mayport Middle touch tanks, and robotics (potentially more to come). The wristbands will not be available to purchase the day of the event. The cost for the wristband is $30. Wristbands are nonrefundable and nonreplaceable! Please make sure you put them in a safe place until the event. Wristbands will be delivered to your student on November 2nd. Tickets for additional chances to win class baskets, certain activities (glitter tattoo, donut dance, touch tanks, and robotics), and for those who do not wish to purchase a wristband, are available for purchase online now. Tickets ordered online will be delivered to your student on Oct. 14th, 21st, 28th, or Nov. 2nd. The last day to purchase tickets online is Oct. 30. Tickets will also be available for purchase the day of the event. Tickets will be 50¢ each (online and at the event).  All class games will require 3 tickets; other activities will have variable ticket requirements. The rock wall is ticket-only attraction. Tickets and wristbands can be purchased on the Dolphin Fest website (http://dolphinfest2022.givesmart.com). Class Games We are all excited to announce our class games this year. Each grade has worked hard on coming up with their idea and designing their game. This year's games are: K: Angry Birds 1st Grade: Gone Fishing 2nd Grade: Frisbee Golf 3rd Grade: Digging for Gold 4th Grade: Stinko-Plinko 5th Grade: Toilet Paper Toss Silent Auction: Donate Items to Help Raise Money for ABE! Have you bid on an item in our Silent Auction in the past? If so, you already know about the awesome items that have been kindly donated. All of those items were solicited by ABE parents or teachers. PTA’s Silent Auction is an online event. The auction website (http://dolphinfest2022.givesmart.com) hosts the silent auction which is open to the public, and the Teacher Treat auction which is available only to ABE students. This is the PTA’s BIGGEST fundraiser for the year; so don’t miss your chance to help make a difference at our little pink school! Claiming your winnings will be done Saturday, November 5th in the Media Center from 2-4pm. Please bring valid identification. If you are unable to collect your item(s) at this time please contact Joy Carson (lj_clif@hotmail.com) or Margaux Jurasic (star7985@aol.com) no later than Tuesday, November 8th.  If no communication has been made to retrieve the winning item(s) by Nov. 8th, the next highest bidder will be contacted for item purchase. (You will receive a refund minus any transaction costs associated with the purchase.) This Year's Basket Themes Are... What special item did you find to add to your child's Class Basket this year? If you haven't already found the perfect item there's still time. Coordinate with your Homeroom Parent to find out what is needed. The Baskets are part of what makes this event so special -- especially for the kids. Check out all of the fun baskets that are planned for this year. Additional tickets can be purchased online for 50¢ each. Please note: Only ABE students can win the Class Baskets.
